Early Bird ticketing for the San Antonio Auto Show is ending Nov. 14 at midnight. Tickets purchased after Nov. 14 will be $10 for adults and children ages 11 and up at the door. Online tickets bought after that date will be $10, plus a $2 service charge for each ticket purchased. The show offers a discounted price of $8 to all senior adults and active/retired military members, as well as free admission to children under age 10.If you missed the early bird specials, no need to worry, there are still many great deals to take advantage of when the show begins.
To celebrate the opening of the show, all military, fire department, police department and EMS members in uniform will receive free admission on Thursday, Nov. 15. On Friday, Nov. 16th bring in one canned good item and receive $1 off your ticket price.

Saturday is Family Day at the 2012 San Antonio Auto Show
Saturday, Nov. 17 will be Family Day at the 44th annual San Antonio Auto Show. Families can enjoy a wide range of activities on Saturday, including appearances by Sesame Street’s Elmo and the Transformer Optimus Prime from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.The YMCA of Greater San Antonio is sponsoring the Kids Zone at the San Antonio Auto Show this year. Kids can enjoy games, face painting and visits from Elmo and Optimus Prime.Also in the Kids Zone is the San Antonio Auto Show Kids Zone Autobahn Race. Children attending the show will have the opportunity to pick from seven miniature race cars compete in their own Autobahn. Each kid who rides will be eligible to win one of the miniature cars at the end of the show.

Ford, Toyota and Nissan Bring Ride and Drive Experiences to the 2012 San Antonio Auto Show
At this year’s 44th Annual San Antonio Auto & Truck Show, visitors will have the opportunity to test-drive new Toyota, Nissan and Ford vehicles.The Toyota Ride and Drive gives visitors the opportunity to test drive an Avalon, Camry or other Toyota vehicle. Participants will learn about the new Toyota products as well as the latest technology. Win an Exotic Car Driving Experience at the San Antonio Auto Show
At this year’s 44th Annual San Antonio Auto & Truck Show, visitors will have the opportunity to win a full-throttle experience of driving four of the world’s greatest sports cars.QR codes will be scattered around the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Visitors must scan the QR code in order to be entered in the contest.Contest winners will win an opportunity to visit Lonestar Exotic Rentals and spend 30-40 minutes driving on some of the best roads in Texas. Grand Prix Arrives in Austin, Just in Time for the San Antonio Auto Show

The Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas will host the 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix on November 16-18, coinciding with the San Antonio Auto Show.
